My morning was a mixed bag today. Before I'd even had my first cuppa, I had to deal with a major milk spillage in the fridge (cheers to my husband for that gift!). Not ideal.

It wasn't all crying over spilt milk though, as today we published a special post on Bad Brains - an early access review of The Skinner Brothers upcoming song, Pie n Mash. Which we've definitely been really excited about, so that at least is making me very happy today!

I actually managed to get my post for Bad Brains done and published today! This is where I write about The Skinner Brothers (and sometimes other independent music) and my co-writer and I take turns to write Song of the Week.

Needed to be up early today to get to my GP surgery first thing, so of course my brain went into overdrive last night and I was plagued with anxiety dreams. I managed three and a half hours sleep before I gave in and got up at 04:30.

It's going to be an interesting day!

Was busy sorting out the notes section on my site yesterday. I had planned to hook up some kind of external service to Eleventy so I had an editing screen for that section, but that didn't go so well (a problem for another day now, I gave myself a headache with that!).

But... I did manage to make that section visually fit the rest of my site and also set up Echofeed which will hopefully post each note to Mastodon for me.

I'm far from the best with website stuff these days, but I'm really having fun with it!
