Jackie Plage

I'm a 52 year old woman, originally from Birmingham, then South London, now living in East Yorkshire. I live with a brain that’s very much ADHD (inattentive type) as well as heavily prone to depression and anxiety. I'm also the owner of a body that refuses to cooperate with a 9-to-5.

Though my energy is often low to non-existent, I still try to fill my days the best I can. These days a good portion of my time is filled with moderating the official Facebook group for The Skinner Brothers or writing for Bad Brains. Otherwise I'll be gaming or reading. Or sleeping. Sleep is good.

On really good days I might venture out with my camera. I haven't had much time or energy for that for quite some time, but I hope to get back to doing photography regularly again. It's good for my soul!

This domain lay dormant for quite a while before I decided what to do with it. I did start a blog running Hugo with it in 2025 but I've now moved it over to Eleventy. I'll gradually flesh this site out over the coming months, but the heart of it will be the blog. My intentions are to have fun with it, and to basically treat it as a dumping ground for my brain. Don't say I didn't warn you!
